The Towergate travel insurance policy you have purchased from your holiday company does not cover your pre-existing medical condition(s).

We may be able to extend your policy to provide cover for your pre-existing condition(s), and if we can, there will be an additional cost to pay. To start the quote process, please click the NEXT button below and answer the qualifying questions. You will then be able to provide your personal information and declare your pre-existing medical condition(s).

Please answer all the questions honestly and to the best of your knowledge. If you do not tell us about any of your pre-existing medical condition(s), or you fail to answer the questions honestly and to the best of your knowledge, then your policy/additional cover may be cancelled, your claim may be rejected, or your claim may not be paid in full.

This process must be repeated for each trip.

Important – If you …

  • choose not to request a quote, or
  • decline to purchase the extension once you have obtained our decision, or
  • if we are unable to offer you a quote,

...you can still travel with the standard cover that you have purchased from your holiday company, but claims arising from your pre-existing condition(s) will be excluded.

Trips outside the UK
To understand if you need to purchase an extension to the policy you have bought from your holiday company, please answer the qualifying questions on the next page. You will then be able to provide your personal information and declare your pre-existing medical condition(s).
You will also need to have the following information:
  • Your holiday company's insurance policy scheme code
  • Full details of your trip
  • Your medication
  • Your medical conditions and/or surgical procedures that you need to declare to us
If we can offer you an extension, you will be able to purchase it through this website.
Trips inside the UK (including Isle of Man and Channel Islands)
For UK-only trips, we are unable to offer a quote to extend your cover.
Please refer to the insurance policy wording that you have purchased from your holiday company for details of the cover provided.
